What We Clean & Services We Provide: Carpet, tile & grout, upholstery, rugs, mattresses, laminate,

fire & smoke damage mitigation, trauma clean-up.
Objective:
Support the mission of providing clean, safe homes and buildings without exposing
people to toxic, potentially harmful chemicals.
Summary:
This position is focused on establishing and creating relationships and delivering
excellent service and follow-up for customers. We want those we help and serve to be delighted in
how they are supported, serviced, and cared for. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling
a wide range of customer, administrative and support related tasks and will be able to work
independently with little supervision. This person must be a “people person” and be exceedingly
well-organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of a growing cleaning and restoration business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of the customer experience.
Create and nurture relationships with customers to strengthen the bond so they are inspired to act and get the care they need with our help and support. - Perform all scheduled cleaning or water restoration tasks in our customer’s home or business setting.
- Educate our customers as to the technology and science behind proper cleaning, disinfecting techniques and proper use of cleaning products.
- Perform daily maintenance of company equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
- Work in tandem with fellow technicians and/or in support of office personnel on a variety of tasks, including:
- Actively promote Greener Method as a valuable community resource and support the mission to improve peoples’ lives by improving their surroundings.
- Generating company sales leads, as well as contribute to the overall success of company marketing campaigns (email, social media, etc.)
- Projects pertaining to operations and procedures.
- As necessary, attend local educational classes, seminars, and meetings pertaining to technician continuous education.

Required Essential Skills:
- People person-love spending time with and helping people.
- Excellent written & spoken English-excellent grammar.
- Minimum high school diploma or completion of an equivalent program
- Valid and unrestricted Michigan Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Ability to perform physically labor-intensive tasks, ability to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time, ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to interface with web-based applications as a support to daily activity.
Strongly Preferred
- Willingness to travel for overnight projects in emerging markets (Accommodation Provided) for up to 7 day intervals.
- Ability to be “on-call”. Ability to respond to emergency service requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule. Both AM and PM starting times as dictated by our customer requirements.
- Prior work experience in the carpet and floor cleaning industry, and/or water restoration industry
- IICRC Training or Certification(s)
